​Claridge's Restaurant

Claridge’s Restaurant has gently opened its art deco doors onto Davies Street, as it embarks on a new era in its long history. This classically inspired but contemporary British restaurant – which will fully open in September – is now operated in house by the hotel itself. It was previously known as Claridge’s Restaurant over 20 years ago.

Claridge's ArtSpace

In partnership with Ben Brown Fine Arts, Claridge’s ArtSpace presents a major solo exhibition of works by Italian conceptual artist, Alighiero Boetti. Born in Turin in 1940, Boetti’s art is steeped in his diverse, theoretical interests and travels around the world. Rising to fame as part of the Arte Povera movement in the 1960s, he is perhaps best known for his later Mappa series – 150 eye-catching embroidered maps that weave together ideas of time, unity and shifting geopolitical relationships.

Boetti is represented in leading public collections worldwide, and his iconic Map of the World is on permanent display at The Museum of Modern Art in New York. This summer, Boetti’s philosophical, poetic oeuvre is celebrated across Claridge’s ArtSpace and Ben Brown Fine Arts' flagship Mayfair gallery on Brook’s Mews.

Bringing café culture to Claridge’s for the very first time, Claridge’s ArtSpace Café has opened, with its own dedicated entrance on Brook’s Mews bedecked with awning and flag.

Open daily with a focus on breakfast and lunch, the Café offers a vibrant menu with crêpes as a signature, alongside bagels, bespoke galettes, salads that shift with the seasons, croque monsieurs and madames, mega madeleines and Claridge’s cakes galore. Designed by renowned British architectural designer John Pawson, the Café features a gallery-like patisserie counter, marble communal table as a central spot, and entry down to Claridge’s ArtSpace – a vast gallery which rotates exhibitions, free for all to view.

At the ArtSpace Café, everything is designed for takeaway for those on the move, allowing Claridge’s to be eaten alfresco or ‘al desko’ for the very first time.

Claridge's Bar

Claridge’s Bar serves an impeccable selection of rare and exceptional drinks. From the finest vintage champagnes to sought-after spirits and wines, this connoisseur’s collection represents the best of their kind. Our knowledgeable staff source, prepare and serve the stunning selections as they are, or as cocktails expertly created and served within the effortless, elegant setting of David Collins’ stunning interior.

The Foyer & Reading Room

The Foyer’s grand art deco setting is as magical as the stars of stage and screen that have graced this glorious space over the last century. The Reading Room, with its inviting banquettes, is a more intimate dining space. Together, they are the perfect place to enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner along with what many regard as the best afternoon tea in London.

The Fumoir

Discreetly tucked away in Claridge’s art deco interior, The Fumoir is where those in the know have enjoyed a quiet drink since 1929.

By day, sip a cappuccino and nibble on macaroons. Come by for pre-theatre drinks such as a signature Claridge’s Julep. Or drop in for a vodka martini nightcap, perfectly mixed and served in an ice-chilled glass. As William Klein portraits gaze down moodily from the walls, this is a place to settle in and relish the moment.
