Day 1 - Arrive Madrid
Elegant Madrid kick-starts your exciting journey across Spain, Morocco and Portugal. Upon arrival, Check in to your hotel and relax. If you’d prefer to skip the siesta, take to the city’s golden streets for a glimpse of what this football-crazed metropolis has in store. The real fun begins this evening when you meet your Travel Director and fellow travel compañeros, followed by some time to curb your craving for tapas and get to grips with why the Madrileños adore their nightlife.

Day 2 - Madrid sightseeing and free time
There is plenty to see in the lively Spanish capital, so you get right to it this morning, joining a Local Specialist for a sightseeing tour to view the Cibeles Fountain and Paseo de la Castellana. Admire the Royal Palace then spend your afternoon exploring the city further or consider an Optional Experience to the UNESCO-listed city of Segovia. Marvel at the impressive towering arches of the ancient Roman aqueduct and trace the ornate esgrafiado façades that are characteristic of the city’s most important buildings before returning to Madrid.

Day 3 - Madrid – Toledo – Granada
Set your sights firmly on Toledo today, embarking on a scenic journey south through the windswept plateau of La Mancha where the fictional Don Quixote and his trusty companion Sancho Panza once roamed. View the enchanting skyline of the ancient hilltop city known as the “City of Three Cultures” – the influences of Christians, Muslims and Jews are reflected in the city’s history, culture and religion. Then, join your Local Specialist who will lead you on a captivating walking tour past the impressive cathedral. Visit a steel workshop to see first-hand how Toledo’s famous steel-craft has evolved over centuries, then continue to the former Moorish stronghold of Granada. Day 4 - Granada – Costa Del Sol
Lace up your walking shoes and take to Granada’s narrow cobbled streets for an independent exploration of a city whose Arab influences remain in its Moorish architecture, tetería tea houses and even hammams. Delve into its Arab history and culture during a Choice Experience visit to the Albaicín Quarter, the city’s oldest neighborhood and its characteristic cármenes (Moorish houses). On the hilltop overlooking the city is the fortified citadel of the Alhambra – its opulent palaces and gardens the former seat of Granada’s Nasrid emirs. Day 6 - Fes sightseeing and free time
Join a Local Specialist for a sightseeing tour through the cultural and spiritual center of Morocco. In the Fes Medina, marvel at the haggling skills of enterprising vendors during a guided visit through the hidden alleyways and main squares of this ancient marketplace. Visit a carpet weaving cooperative and admire the delicate craftsmanship as you gain an appreciation for the centuries of tradition informing every deliberate handmade knot. Today, travel to Casablanca, the setting of Humphrey Bogart’s most indelible moments on screen. Our scenic drive through the city reveals both Arabic and French influences as we admire the elegant Corniche and the impressive Hassan II Mosque, featuring one of the world's tallest minaret. Continue to the capital city, Rabat, where you see the Mohammed V Mausoleum and Royal Palace. Take in panoramic views of the capital before proceeding to today's final stop, Tangier.

Day 10 - Tangier – Seville
We return to Spain this morning, crossing the Strait of Gibraltar and heading north to Seville, home of fiery flamenco, scorching Spanish summers and adorning Seville oranges. Spend the evening relaxing in preparation for a day of sightseeing tomorrow, which will reveal why the city has been the favorite winter retreat of Spanish royalty for centuries.

Day 11 - Seville sightseeing and free time
Admire the great monuments, handsome pavilions and lush gardens of Seville when you join a Local Specialist for a sightseeing tour to explore the architectural gems of Seville's 1929 Ibero-American Exposition, Maria Luisa Park and Seville’s Old Quarter. View the spectacular Cathedral of Seville, the largest Gothic cathedral in the world and the site of Christopher Columbus' tomb. Continuing north, we arrive in the seafaring capital of Lisbon to enjoy an evening on your own to unwind after the day’s journey. Day 13 - Lisbon sightseeing and free time

We travel to Fátima where three young shepherds are said to have seen an apparition of the Virgin Mary in 1917. Leaving this site of celebrated religious miracles behind, continue your journey back to Spain and to the university city of Salamanca. Join your Travel Director for a brief orientation of the city, past golden façades and ancient university buildings followed by an evening on your own. Sit back in the city’s 18th-century Plaza Mayor and wait for sunset when the square lights up and its Baroque buildings provide a gleaming backdrop for a drink or two.

Coimbra & Óbidos Medieval Village (6 - 8 Hours)
Meet your private chauffeur at the dock and hit the road direction to Coimbra, one of Portugal's oldest cities and home to one of the world's first universities.
It was the capital of the country from 1139 to 1256 and its university was founded in 1290. Today this impressive university is still one of the world's most illustrious and the city's biggest attraction. Surrounding it in the old town are fine old churches and narrow streets standing on a hill overlooking the Modego River.
Enjoy a private visit to the Old University. Enter through the "Porta Férrea", dating from the 17th century, and continue towards a courtyard known as "Pátio das Escolas". On the north side lies the buildings of the Old University, the east observatory, and the west the small university church.
Most impressive of all is the baroque style library, Biblioteca Joanina, one of the world’s most resplendent. It was built in the early 18th century with rooms rich in gilt and exotic wood, and lined with 300,000 books. Enjoy a walking tour through the old part of the city, with a visit to the two cathedrals - the Old Cathedral (“Sé Velha") and the New Cathedral (“Sé Nova").

However, it is not only this fact that makes it such an extraordinarily romantic place - which makes it one of the most romantic medieval towns in Europe are its incredibly picturesque cobbled streets lined with colorful houses full of geraniums and bougainvillea, Gothic doors and windows, whitewashed churches, pots and glazed tiles all surrounded by the walls of a 12th century castle.

Proceed to Alcobaça, and independent visit the Alcobaça Monastery, Europe's greatest Cistercian temple. Founded in 1153 to commemorate a victory against the Moors, it was finally completed in 1223. Alenquer for Wine Lovers & Óbidos (6 - 8 Hours)
Today, meet your private chauffeur at the dock and hit the road towards Alenquer, for an exclusive treat at selected wine Estate, a wonderful and enchanting property for its buildings architecture and for its beautiful vineyards.
This wine estate is located in the surroundings of Aldeia Galega and it spreads over the sunny hills’ of Alenquer, a Delimited Region in the northwest of Lisboa. Its historical and excellent vineyards are known since the 16th century and have belonged to Diogo Duff, a brave Scottish man who received the "Tower and Sword" insignia, given by King João VI. Alice and Paulo Tavares da Silva bought the estate in the 1980s and made significant investments in its 45ha of vineyard. The introduction of new cultivation methods has allowed the family to consolidate the quality and reputation of their wines.
In an accompanied visit, you can get to know the wine making technology and methods used in the Quinta to produce their elegant wines, learning every step of the wine process. After understand how the wines are produced, see for yourself how they are stored during the ageing process that gives them some of their most typical characteristic. Follows a private and lectured wine tasting, lectured by the responsible for the oenology department, Sandra Tavares da Silva, the daughter of the owners, or by the resident oenologist, so you can confirm the high quality of their product. The family will invite you for lunch at their house.
Sandra is making wines in both Estremadura and the Douro, which necessitates travelling between the two regions three times a week. Since then her day job has been as winemaker for Christiano Van Zeller at Quinta do Vale D. Maria in the Douro. In 2000 she began making wines from her parents Estremadura estate, at the Quinta you will visit. With their depth of fruit and fine structure these have rapidly established a reputation as being among the best of the appellation.

Dressage Experience, Wine & Lunch with the Countess (6 - 8 Hours)
Your day begins when you are collected at the port by your chauffeured luxury vehicle. Drive direction to Muge in order to visit a magnificent Horse & Wine Estate.
This estate belongs to the Álvares Pereira de Melo family for almost four centuries. In this House lived during over a year the Queen Leonor, third wife of King Manuel I, sister of the Emperor D. Carlos V and mother of Infanta Dona Maria.
Upon arrival at the estate, you will be welcomed by the master rider at the Riding Hall and you will have the opportunity to ride a Lusitano Stallion for a classical dressage lesson.
After this unforgettable experience, you will have time to taste their wines from the different varietals (Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Pinot Noir) as well as selected blends such as Padre Pedro, Herdade de Muge and Marquees of Cadaval. The house oenologist will lecture you on the “secret” flavours while you taste.
Then, you will be invited by the owner (Countess Teresa Álvares Pereira Schönborn-Wiesentheid) of the Domain, to have lunch at the Palace. *Subject to availability
After lunch, a cart pulled by two noble studs, expects you to explore this very unique farm, going through the vineyards, natural reserve where you will meet the mares and foals. It is dominated by a 12th-century Templar castle containing one of the country most significant and impressive monuments, the Convent of Christ (declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO).
Enjoy a private visit to the Templar Castle and a private visit to the Museu Luso-Hebraico Abraham Zacuto (Abraham Zacuto Portuguese-Jewish Museum). It is housed in the oldest synagogue in Portugal and it displays a variety of interesting artifacts from Tomar and around the world.

Lunch (not included) will be served at a charming restaurant embraced by the castle walls, offering a unique and charming atmosphere. Their cuisine is based on typical Portuguese gastronomy, receives a careful selection of worldwide influences, all combined in a creative and refined fashion.
Enjoy a walking tour inside the walls. This walled town, with its narrow streets spreading from the foot of the castle, still preserves all the atmosphere of a 16th century mediaeval town.
The Jewish quarter, an area was once inhabited by traders, artists and scientists, was in the centre of the town, close to the Rua Direita and the beautiful 16th century Renaissance church of Santa Maria, where it is possible to appreciate the paintings of Josefa d'Obidos, one of the most important 17th century Portuguese artists.
Since it was the property of the queens of Portugal, Obidos always enjoyed special protection from the royal court and at one time had a school of arts and sciences. The effects of all this culture are clearly evident in its artistic heritage, in particular the Manueline palace that was built inside the castle walls (now converted into the Obidos Pousada).

Lying north of the River Tagus estuary and stretching over seven hills, Portugal's capital city has much to offer. Receive a warm welcome at the port by your private guide and driver and from here commence your engaging tour of Lisbon.
Explore the Belem district with its magnificent Jerónimos Monastery, an extraordinary example of Portugal's 'Manueline' style of architecture. Venture outside of Lisbon to explore Queluz, Sintra and Estoril during your private shore excursion. Take the short driver to the sumptuous 18th-century Queluz Palace, where you can admire the magnificent formal gardens and azulejo-lined canals.
Afterwards visit Sintra, the summer retreat of Portuguese monarchs and Moorish emirs before them. Today, this town, nestling on the north side of the Sintra Mountain, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Stroll through the town where charming streets are filled with fine handicraft shops.
